In the Grampian Region area more than 16,000 people suffer from coronary heart disease.
Fortunately with correct medical intervention and change of lifestyle many can and do live a normal life.
However, the trauma and shock of a cardiac incident can leave many people feeling isolated and uncertain after being discharged from hospital and whilst keen to rebuild their lives they often do not know how to go about this, or where to turn for help.

Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation association Ltd (G.C.R.A.) is a charitable organisation founded and managed principally by people just like you. We can offer support and advice to help you achieve your goals for your return to an active, healthier and longer life.
Recovering from a heart attack and or Cardiac surgery is not difficult and is in fact relatively simple. Believe us, we know because most of us have been through it and our experience will help you through this difficult period and get you back enjoying a pretty normal life once again.
