Donna Henderson

Donna was born in 1964 and raised in Livingston, West Lothian.
She and her husband Craig have lived in Aberdeen for the last 22 years.
She obtained an HND in Communication Studies and worked for over 10 years with Aberdeen Journals, latterly as their Classified Advertising Manager prior to moving on to Yellow Pages for a 7 year stint as an Advertising Account Executive.She even owns a copy of the amazing ' Fly Fishing' by J R Hartley!
She 'retired' in January 2008 to become a full-time Domestic Engineer and concentrate on writing her first novel which, according to a recent report, is apparently, 'still a work in progress'. She also works with another 5 ladies organising the annual fundraising Summer Ball for the Aberdeen branch of the Childline charity.
The onset of angina in February 2009 coupled to a strong family history of heart disease led to Donna having Angioplasty and a stent fitted. She then joined GCRA and set about exercising on a regular basis but also enjoys walking and swims 3 or 4 times a week which probably explains why she has'nt finished her first novel yet!
She joined the GCRA Management Board in August 2009 and is keen to spread the word on the benefits of exercising with GCRA.
Donna also enjoys arts & crafts, the theatre, tai chi, live music, writing, cooking and travel. Good job she 'retired' in 2008 really !.
Question.- How the devil can she do all these things and be a full-time domestic engineer ?
Answer. - Because she is a woman !
